United Automotive has deep roots that trace back to the 1940s, when Salvatore “Sal” DeRosa set out with a simple goal: to provide quality, reliable automotive parts that drivers could count on. What started with Sal remanufacturing shock absorbers in a small shop quickly grew into a family tradition of craftsmanship and care. Over time, he expanded into alternators, starters, carburetors, brake calipers, master cylinders, and power brake products—the very same lines we still proudly remanufacture today.

More than 80 years later, United Automotive remains committed to the same values Sal built the business on: hard work, integrity, and attention to detail. We’ve grown into a lean, custom remanufacturing facility known for top-quality workmanship and fast turnaround, but at our core, we’re still “old school.” We take pride in offering American-made service to the automotive aftermarket, honoring our history while driving forward with every part we restore.
